Support » Plugin: WP-PostRatings » [Plugin: WP-PostRatings] Shortcodes not work properly

    When I use:
    <?php if(function_exists('the_ratings')) { the_ratings(); } ?>
    rating is displayed correctly.
    But when I try to use [ratings] or [ratings id=”1″ results=”true”] ratings are showing up twice with additional symbols at the end (eg, “>).

    Any ideas?

    I think the shortcode ([ratings id=1″] etc) is intended to be used if you haven’t included <?php if(function_exists('the_ratings')) { the_ratings(); } ?> in the Loop. It would allow you to insert ratings on particular posts/pages.

    If you’ve included it in the loop in page.php, single.php etc in your Child Theme, then it will show on all posts/pages.

    I’m not aware of a shortcode to disable it on specific posts or pages.

    Hope this clears up some doubt?
