[Plugin: WP-Polls] Percentage goes beyond 100%

  • The Poll we have on our site is showing 142% vs. 0%. I noticed in the changelog that Version 2.50 (01-06-2009) supposedly fixed the issues of results adding up to 100%. Any help in understanding why our poll isn’t would be very much appreciated. The poll can be viewed at iszeekrewardsascam.com.

  • Hi, The result I have seen –

    Yes (124%, 21 Votes)
    No (0%, 5 Votes)

    But Total Voters: 17 ? Why…
    The total votes should be 26

    yes (0%, 0 Votes)
    no (0%, 0 Votes)
    may be (0%, 0 Votes)
    no comment (100%, 0 Votes)

    So many bugs. The plugin needs a serious re-work.

    biswajeet – I believe we have it setup where people can vote more than once, so I get the difference between number of votes vs. the number of voters which could be less.

    sergeyzimin – Yes, I agree. I haven’t personally searched for another poll plugin to replace this one, but maybe that’s the only “solution”.

    Hi the is a bug related to what you are facing…
    You can try as stated on my other thread. Check

    Change the line on file wp-polls.php:

    $poll_answer_percentage = round((($poll_answer_votes/$poll_question_totalvoters)*100));

    to

    $poll_answer_percentage = round((($poll_answer_votes/$poll_question_totalvotes)*100));
