[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] WPPA very slow

    Hi,
    I have a question concerning the speed of WPPA. I have a bunch of WPPA photo albums on my site and it takes several minutes to load them even for the albums with only ~25 photos (www.phil.chillsofa.de/wordpress/?page_id=1448). I am wondering why this is? When I initally tested your plugin I did not experience this behavior. Is this because the WPPA library is now several 1000 pictures large? Is there any way to signifcantly speed up the loading times? I like the plugin a lot, but in this configuration now it is nearly unusable.

    I did some tests. The time to make the html for wppa is normal (mostly less that 0.5 sec), even in large slideshows.

    Can’t you avoid redirections? They seem to take time

    What do you mean redirections? You mean to show contents in different page? Of course I can do it. Moreover some of the users ask me if there is a possibility not to see the message: your message is posted”. They lose a lot of time. Thank you very much again for your quick response. I ll try to donate as soon as possible.

    Forget the redirections as they are out of your control.

    I will add your request to hide the comment added alert box to the wishlist
