[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] Skip the thumbs

    Thanks for an awesome plugin, I got it working quickly and with no trouble at all.

    However, what I really need is to skip the thumbnails and just go straight to the image browse stage (ie the one like the slideshow but the images have next and back buttons)

    So ideally you would click on an album cover and just be in image browse mode at the first photo.

    I’m guessing its easy but may require a bit of code editing somewhere?

    In the next rev (2.1.0, to be released in a few days) you can use %%slide=nn%% (instead of %%album=nn%% or %%cover=nn%%)to start a slideshow immediately. I will build in a systemwide switch to wheter to start the slideshow running or to set in browsmode at the first slide.
    This will do it?

    I think that would work – will you be able to click on the cover and go straight into browse-mode?

    Also turning off the slideshow links at top would be good.

    I think all the options are great – sometimes you want the gallery/thumbs, sometimes the browse with no slideshow, sometimes the slideshow. To choose one or a combination for a site is great

    Just discovered what we really need 🙂

    Is it at all possible to go from the album to browse mode – but have the thumbnails lined up under the browse mode.

    In other words you can browse using the next/back buttons but you can also jump to any image using the thumbs..??

    Have a look at how it is going to be in rev 2.1.0

    This is my test/development site, so once in a while it is not functioning at all, but most of the time it it up to date to my developments. See if you can work with this for the moment. Having fullsize and thumbnails at the same time is a matter of higher complexity, however i will think about it.
