[resolved] How to hide the thumbnails completely? (2 posts)

Is there a way to hide the thumbnails completely when viewing the slideshow (as well as the gray container around the thumbnails)?

I tried removing the css that is thumbnail related, but that only hid the thumbnails themselves and not the container around it with the arrows.

I also tried removing the code in wppa_theme.php that referenced the thumbnails, but that did not affect them at all (but I could have missed some).

Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions!

Your description make me think you mean the Filmstrip.

You can switch that off in the Photo Albums -> Settings admin page.

    Scroll down to:

    Full-size & Slideshow:

    and then:

Navigation bars: Start/stop slideshow bar: , Browse photos bar: , Filmstrip navigator: , Show seam between end and start of film:

    and uncheck the Filmstrip navigator.

To switch off the normal thumbnails, set the photocount treshold value very high (higher than the max number of photos in any album).
