• Hello Opa-Jaap,
My page of Albums is growing. I have Albums for each month of the year and my goal is to create different pages for each successive new year with 12 Albums on each page…

BTW, the original page is looking great:[http://www.stocktondixielandjazz.org/photo-album]

In order to make this change, I have read your scripting commands, but am still stuck on a problem:
On the ‘test’ page that I created (for the new album year-2012), I added this:
    %%wppa%% %%cover=13%% %%align=center%%
    %%wppa%% %%cover=12%% %%align=center%%
    So far, so good.

When I select ‘slideshow’ for the top album (id13), the slideshow opens up and runs as intended, however, the Album is not ALONE on the page. The second Album (id12) is sitting down below it.

That wouldn’t be so bad, except…

When I scroll down the page to try out the second Album (id12), I click ‘slideshow’ but the page “anchors” up to the top of page where I then manually must scroll back down to the page to get to the location of the second Album’s slideshow.

Additionally, there are TWO Albums showing up on the same page AFTER choosing slideshow. This is different than the normal process.

Perhaps I have the scripting commands written incorrectly? Can you please advise a solution?

I love WPPA+ and have just made a DONATION to help support your wonderful work.
    Thx,
    -kerrock

    Try this:

Make an album, name it anything, say: Dummy
Set its parent to — separate —, and remember its id. (suppose it is 17).

Set the parent of albums 12 and 13 to Dummy

    Use this script:

    %%wppa%% %%album=17%%

You just made the albums 12 and 13 children of the Dummy album, and by showing the content of that dummy album you will see a list of covers (12 and 13).

I guess that then you get what you want.

BTW: You can nest albums unlimited, so you could make a container album that contains one album for each year, each year album can than contain 12 month albums, which finally contain the actual photos.

If you make sure you upload less than the tresholdvalue (Table I-A4) photos in the Master and the Year albums, you will have a coverphoto, but it will look like there are no photos in those (container) albums.
