    thanks for a really nice plugin! Though I have stumbled into some problems when configuring the layout of my albums and images.

    I have setup the album here and there are two problems I have with the album cover view. First if the random cover photo of the second album becomes a image in landscape layout the image extends to the right over the border. This is due to that the width of “album-2-1” below is set to 194 px which is much less than the 250 px the image is! How come? Have I configured something wrong?

    Secondly the plugin injects a “border-width: 0px;” for the thumbnail image and thus I cannot change the layout of thumbnails by editing or injecting a CSS in the header. Is there any way without changing the plugin code to stop this behaviout?

    Here is the HTML code generated for that section that gives me problems:

    <div id="album-2-1" class="album wppa-box wppa-cover-box wppa-even" style="border-style: solid; border-width:1px; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; -khtml-border-radius:6px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; background-color:#ffffff; width: 194px;margin-left: 8px;">
    	<div id="covertext_frame_2_1" class="wppa-text-frame covertext-frame" style="width:194px;">
    		<h2 class="wppa-title" style="clear:none; font-family:Nobile; font-size:14px; color:#000; ">
    			<a href="" title="View the album Kliniken" class="wppa-title" style="font-family:Nobile; font-size:14px; color:#000; ">Kliniken</a>
    		<p class="wppa-box-text wppa-black" style="font-family:Nobile; font-size:14px; color:#929292; ">Ett par bilder från kliniken</p>
    		<div class="wppa-box-text wppa-black wppa-info">
    			<a href="" title="View the album Kliniken" style="font-family:Nobile; font-size:14px; ">View 8 photos
    	<div id="coverphoto_frame_2_1" class="coverphoto-frame" style="text-align:center;width:194px;">
    		<a href="" title="View the album Kliniken">
    			<img src="" alt="View the album Kliniken" class="image wppa-img" width="250" height="167" style="background-color:#ffffff;  border-width: 0px; width:250px; height:167px;">
    	</div><!-- #coverphoto_frame_2_1 -->
    	<div style="clear:both;"></div>

    If you place a picture in a box that is too small….
    Either make the cover width larger, or select a static portait cover photo image on the edit album admin page.

    The idea is that you configure everything from the settings page.
    Be more specific in what you want.

    and also, please one question per thread please. Now i have to set this thread half to resolved?

    Aah, sorry for two questions. Lets stay with the size problem here and I’ll take the border in another.

    Yes of course if the box is too small it will stick out:) I have set the “13 Coverphoto size The size of the coverphoto.” to 250 but still the underlying box is just 194. I have also ser “17 Max Cover width Maximum width for a album cover display.” to 250. I do not really get which of these control the underlying box, but the documentation kind of indicates the later, then why did I only get 194?

    I can solve this as you say by setting a portrait layout photo but I guess that is not viable if I end up with just landscapes in an album.

    The container width is 864 pixels in your site. When you set I-17 to 250, the number of covers in a row is calculated (with respect to borders and margins) so that one will not be bigger than 250 px wide, while a full row of covers will be filled equally sized and equally spaced.

    So it turns out that there will fit 4 albumcovers on a row (3 would result in covers being wider than 250 px, i.e. larger than the maximum you specified.

    I have chosen for this method as it always works, even when you have different pages with different column widths ( %%size=…%% scripting command ).

    If you want also landscape cover images to be displayed properly, make sure you set I-17 large enough to force the calculation to come out with 3 on a row, so try anything between approx 300 and approx 430, they will be approx 280 wide in the current container. A value larger than approx 432 will result in only 2 per row, and with a value larger than 864 there will be only one in a row.

    Remember: I-13 is the size you want the coverphotos (either height or width, whichever is the largest), I-17 is a maximum for the coversize.

    Thanks, think I got it, at least now it works with landscapes!

    864 divided by 3 is 288 which is the minimum width I can use, divided by 4 gives 216 which is narrower than the 250 I have specified and thus does not work. I think it would help to change the explanation text to something like this:
    Max Cover width:

    Display covers in 2 or more columns if the display area is wider than the given width. Number of columns is calculated using Column Width(I-1) and this value, which is then used to calculate the width of of each cover based on the total Column Width.
    This also applies for ‘thumbnails as covers’, and will NOT apply to single items.

    The default for this setting is: ‘1024’.

    Did I get it correct?

    You are right. The help is not clear to everyone, sorry.
