[Plugin: WP-Password Generator] Update the password strenghometer as well

    I like the idea but does the plugin email the password to an existing user? If not that, along with what pampfelimetten said would be nice!

    I appreciate your suggestions and have incorporated pampfelimetten’s into the latest (2.0) release of WP Password Generator!

    @laneburris – WordPress doesn’t usually send emails to existing users when administrators update their information (including passwords), so there isn’t a built-in method I can grab onto without having to send a whole new email. To avoid any confusion, I’ve removed the generator from all but the ‘Add a new user’ page.

    Hmmm…
    You mention that you removed the generator from all but the “New User” page…
    Would it be possible for you to put in an admin page/function where you could set things so that you had the option of an existing user being able to use the password generator?

    Would be nice to have the option!
