Support » Plugin: WP-Paginate » [Plugin: WP-Paginate] H1 Header Tags

  • Good Morning

I should start this query with an explanation, I am new to everything there is to know about blogging and working with WordPress.

I noticed in a report that I run that I do not have any H1 tags on my home page? Is there a way to have the wp-pagination coded so that an H1 tag appears? I understand from an SEO perspective having H1 header tags is very important. I thought the post title was automatically set to a H1 tag in WordPress but for some reason when I run this report it does not appear to be the case.

Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated. Please bear in mind when and if you have a moment to respond, if possible, I would appreciate the reply to be in simple terms.

    Thank you!

Having an H1 tag is good practice (for post title or page header, etc), but it is not something that is part of or controlled by WP Paginate.

Check your loop.php or index.php file.

I’m not sure what you mean by loo.php or index.php file. Can you incorporate H1 title tags when you are using the wp-paginate plug in?
