Support » Plugin: WP Online Store » [Plugin: WP Online Store] Placing the 'buy now' button on my own pages?

  • I may find this answer as I work through the documentation (which I’m doing as fast as I can), but haven’t yet so I thought I’d ask. After looking at all the modules and Admin options, I’m curious whether the ‘store front’ display is the only way to show the products and have customers click to get to the purchase page.
Since I’m going to be adding items slowly, for now I’d like to be able to place a ‘buy now’ button on the individual page I build to describe the item. But the only shortcode I’ve seen so far is [WP_online_store], which puts everything on there. Are there other shortcodes for linking to the purchase pages?

    Chris L.

    hi again Chris,

One thing that may help, i believe you will get more replies to your questions via our user forums on the main site (i am not in here much).

That being said, currently no. we do not have individual short codes. The reason is that we used a pre existing eCommerce solution (osCommerce) for our plugin and it built a little differently than your regular WP eCommerce plugins.

however it is being looked into.
