• I have used WP-O-Matic on WP v.2.7 for some time now with no issues (it works great). However, I just created a blog in WP v.2.8 and am having the following issue:

With WP-O-Matic enabled, I cannot edit or create posts (pages are fine) – the “body” area where you’d fill in the content of your post has disappeared.

I’ve tried activation of the plugin with different themes; all have the same issue.

Any ideas on how to make this work? I’m thinking it’s a SimplePie issue (incompatible with WP v.2.8) but I cannot get any help from the SP developers.

  • I have same problem, was thinking maybe 2.8.1 will fix it but it didnt.
Dont know what they change so its not working.

I too am having the same issue! I have installed my blog on my home machine running IIS7 on Server 2008.

PHP & MySQl is fine, everything works great! I am running the latest version of WP (just downloaded it yesterday). I can download and upload the wp-o-matic plugin just fine, but when I hit the “Activate” button – it refreshes into a “500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR”. The website is still fine, but the admin section is JACKED UP!

So, as soon as I delete it out of the plugins folder, it refreshes back to normal??

    Anyclue? Somebody?
