[Plugin: WP Nivo Slider] Trouble re-sizing image slices?

  • Hi there,
The Nivo Slider came with a theme I’d purchased, but I can’t seem to raise support from the theme creator. I’m hoping this is an issue you can help me with fairly easily though.

this is my WP homepage. I want the main image within the slider to be 640 w x 360 h. I’ve got all the surrounding divs all set correctly, and I thought I’d made the proper changes to the theme index.php file as well. But as you can see, the main image continues to not fill the space. I know that the original image I uploaded for the post is sufficiently large enough, yet I wonder if this is an issue with TimThumb, and if so, how I can solve it. There doesn’t seem to be any generated thumbnail that matches these dimensions, and I can’t see where to set it up.

Interestingly, there also is no admin area for the Nivo Slider within my WP theme installation.

    Thanks in advance.

    ~Laura

  • Laura, is the admin under the setting menu?

from the site support. To use the WP Nivo Slider, you must first enter the settings Plug-in Option -> WP Nivo Slider

Although that description to me is not clear as to where in worpdress the Option menu for the plugin resides.

Under plugins I see some code in the edit function for the slider.
Under Settings — WP Nivo Slider there are 5 options to edit.
