[Plugin: WP-Members] Sending registraion email wihtout "wp-login.php" link (2 posts)

I have installed the plug-in and it is working just fine. However, I am using the plug-in to simply block access to a particular page and its content. I have setup the plug-in to only allow the administrator to create new users and when I create a new user I would like that person to receive an email with their username and password.

When the email is sent to the new user there is also a link after the username and password for the "wp-login.php" and I do not want people to be able to login to wordpress, only the blocked page. Is there anyway to remove that link in the email that is sent to the new user?

I have noticed that once a user has been created I can then go back into the user's profile and change their role to —No role for this site— which then does not allow them to login to wordpress anyway. However, I would still like an automated email to be sent to the new user without the "wp-login.php" link.

When you create a user via the WP admin panel, that is entirely a WP process - it has nothing to do with the plugin.

The email is generated by a function called wp_new_user_notification which is pluggable, so the easiest way to change it is to have your own version of the function in your functions.php file. The original version of the function can be found in /wp-includes/pluggable.php.
