Registration Form Integration with SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam (3 posts)

I am new to the WordPress forums and not completely sure how plugin authors can pickup on threads that pertain to their plugins in the forums. I think maybe because of the keywords/tags for wp-members, a thread I posted on SI Captcha showed up here too, which is good, because it pertains to both plugins.

Here is the thread: SI Captcha and WP-Members Integration

I am hoping for some help on this one. It's important to me that I get some captcha on the registration form.

If you tag something wp-members, I'll generally see it.

I saw the SI Captcha thread as well since you tagged it.

CAPTCHA has been something on the project list. In fact, I've done a couple of customization projects for the plugin that included a customized CAPTCHA (unfortunately, this process was not totally "plugin ready" for mass "non-technical" users, which is now the largest audience of WP plugins).

While I would like to make the plugin compatible with various CAPTCHA plugins, that's not really a feasibility right now. What will more likely happen is that we will directly add a CAPTCHA process to WP-Members.

So, getting back to your real question, how to integrate SI Captcha with WP-Members... I'll take a look at the plugin and see if there is anything I can suggest.

Thank you for your response. I would be grateful for your guidance in integrating the SI Captcha plugin with WP Members. From what I could find on WordPress.org plugins, the SI Captcha was the best. So, I think it would be worthy of integration, or at least a way for your WP Members to recognize that SI Captcha is installed and maybe a checkmark to enable it. That would be the best. ...Maybe easier said than done, but the good thing is that Mike Challis from the SI Captcha plugin said, "There are examples of this if you look at the code of my plugin." I am hopeful. It would be a big help.
