Support » Fixing WordPress » [Plugin: WP jScrollPane] Only works on first post

  • My blog is

I have unstalled the wp jscrollpane plugin witht the intention of haveing custom scroll bars on my comments.

It works like a charm on the first post only, after that i get the default browser comments.

I’ve been poking around for a while and feel like i’m so close but so far. Could anyone tell me what could possibly be hindering the plugin from working on the comments in all the post.

This is the code i’m using in the comments php <div id=”blog_comm”style=”float:right;width:445px;height:225px;overflow:auto;overflow-y:transparent;overflow-x:hidden;padding-right:16px”>

And in the plugin the indentifier is #blog_comm

    Thanks guys.

  • Just to add, on the individual post the custom scroll bars show but on the main page they do not with the exception of the first post.

I tried adding the comments to appear above the post as well as beneath in the index.php and they only appeared above the first post and non of the others.

I am guessing that there is some connection between that and why the jscrollpane only works for comments on the first post.

Still a little lost though, any bones appreciated.

The problem seems that there was only one call for the identifier per page which in my case is blog_comm

So in the file wp-jscrollpane/js/wpjsp.js i found the call and added add(‘#blog_comm’). five times (i have six post per page) and all is well.

I may not have explained that using the correct terms as i don’t know squat about code but it should be easy to get the idea.
