  • You must insert the image from the image upload-thingy. Otherwise read on the configuration page how to add captions by hand.

Thanks for the feedback. I needed to get the issue resolved to deliver ontime to client, so I switched to a plugin that does what I needed. I used NextGEN Gallery and it is working well.

Maybe I have misunderstood the original posters question and your answer. I have added my images with the image “upload-thingy” in WordPress. All works fine. But I can not see any configuration instructions on how to get descriptions to appear in the lightbox window. If I put in a caption, it shows both under the thumbnail and in the lightbox window. I only want a caption or description, (I don’t care which one), to show in the lightbox, not under the thumbnail.

Can we do this with the plugin? Or would that be a future feature request?

    Thanks!
