[Plugin: WP ImageTagger] Search Image Names Needed

  • I installed ImageTagger and have it working, (had to tweek it here and there to add some classes so I could customize its look more, fix the caption link off the site because it was hard coded to the default directory and I have my install in a sub-directory, that sort of thing) – but really, this is a great plugin. Thanks so much.

What I do need is to be able to use a search text field for a user to be able to search for the names of images and have those images found and returned in search results. The default WP search function does not search any of the image specific information (title, alt tag, caption, description), nor do any of the image plugins I could find (search everything, search unleashed). It seems ImageTagger has core pieces in place for this, but don’t know how to make it work. Ideally to have someone be able to enter “indian paintbrush” and have the thumbnail of that image of the flower show up in the results.

    Can anyone help with this?

    Thanks

  • I take note. I have no clue how to implement it, if anyone can provide hints this would for sure help.
