[Resolved] [Plugin: WP Hide Dashboard] Replace "Site Admin" Text?

  • This plugin works very well!!

I have just one request: could the Meta widget, for subscribers, make reference to “User Profile” instead of “Site Admin”?

Perhaps this is a simple request that requires a complex implementation, but if it is doable or if it is a feature coming soon – it would be nice if the plugin had a property that allows control over what the replacement name is (e.g. “User Profile,” “Profile”, “User Home”, etc).

I have no plans to add anything like this to my plugin, but there is another plugin that will allow you to have what you are requesting:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sidebar-login/

It would be used in place of the Meta widget. Be sure to read the documentation on how to hide the Dashboard link from everyone but the admin that is included on the plugin’s Settings page. You can also change the link names there as well.

    Hope this helps. 🙂
