When I activated it showed a window on the admin screens (black background, yellow text) which overwrote a lot of the admin functions making them unusable. When I went to the actual pages of my site it seemed to do nothing.

Would REALLY love to see this updated to work with 3.2.1.

I’m using twentyeleven theme and nothing too out of the ordinary WRT to other plugins.

  • That stuff is actually coming from the sample code in js/my.debug.js. You can edit it or just rename it. WP does not seem to complain if the file is not found in wp_enqueue_script().

same issue here. Had to deactivate in the database because I could no longer get to the plugins page through the dashboard.

But the plugin is only a example for use FirePHP, the output is not usefull, only examples from defaults of WP.
If you like output of data and will debog or optimize your install or source of custom plugins, themes, then see the plugin Debug Objects.
