[Resolved] [Plugin: WP Find Your Nearest] jquery import breaks this

  • Took me a while to figure this one out.
Importing jQuery in the header of the template (for use elsewhere) breaks this plugin, resulting in the search results showing the spinner at the bottom of the page and no results being loaded.

Otherwise nice plugin, only additional feature I would like is a view all map.

    Thanks

If I understand you correctly, then importing jquery in the header of the template is the wrong way to do it… in order to use jquery in wordpress you need to use the function wp_enqueue_script (which the plugin does)… wordpress then ensures that, however many times wp_enqueue_script is used, the script so enqueued is only loaded once.
