[Plugin: WP-Filebase Download Manager] Search plugin doesn't work

    Hi, congratulations for your good job, you’ve developed a great plugin. I’m using Filebase and it works fine, but I’ve a problem with search widget. I’m running Filebase 0.2.9.14 in wordpress 3.3.2. I’ve uploaded several folders with jpg pics into uploads/ folder and synchronized it with Sync Filebase buttom. The synchronization has been correct and all the pics have been inserted and the categorie have been created correctly. I’ve assigned a page id in the Post ID of the file browser option in Setting/File Browser menu and the image list displays correctly in that page I want to. In the side bar of this pages I’ve inserted the Wp-Filebase Search widget and it doesn’t work. I write in the search box the title of one of the images I’ve loaded, but in the result of the search appears all the images loaded in MP3 template format. Can any body tell me how must I configure the searching widget?

    What exactly do you type in the search box?

    Try to disable “Search ID3 Tags” in WP-Filebase’s misc settings

    I’m having trouble with the search widget as well. I only have pdfs, images, .docs, etc, no mp3s, but when I search it just refreshes my file-tree page without the file-tree. I tried unchecking the “Search ID3 tags” option, but nothing.

    Would love to get this file-specific search working.

    I checked another forum post, and it seems that you need a page ID selected in the WP-Filebase > Settings > File-Browser options. The search needs a base page to refresh/load the results.

    The problem with this is that you can’t use the shortcode with this or else you get two file browsers on the same page. If you want to put anything else on the page in a custom order, then you can’t use the search.

    Any way of fixing this?
