[Plugin: WP-Filebase Download Manager] Latest update breaks file listing

  • When I update wp-filebase from to, all the pages that have file lists no longer display any files, and any single file or file url do not work for downloading even though they do show.

I have to downgrade to to keep everything working.

    Any thoughts?

Can you please post the shortcode for your file list?
When trying to download, do you get an error message?

I’m having similar problem. The file lists do not appear for non-registered user, only admin. This is the shortcode used [wpfilebase tag = list id = ‘1, 2,4,3,5,6 ‘tpl = showcats table = 1], the result of what appears on this page is: http://vladiaqueiroz.com / blog /? page_id = 18. The file does not appear. The File Browser also does not appear. But when logged as admin can view and download all normal. The problem is that files do not appear to the visitor. If I put the file individually, without the use of lists, the file usually appears to the visitor. The problem is the lists. What do I do? I wrote on the site “fabi.me” but no answer came. Sorry my English, I’m translating from google.

Here’s an example of the shortcode that I generally use.

    [wpfilebase tag=list id=14]

I’m having a similar issue as well after updating the plugin today.
All pages do not show the files but do show the catagories.
In the admin manage files section, I do not see the individual files either. Also, the top downloads widget doesn’t list any files.

I did as Frit and went back to using V. to get the files back again.

Thank you for your work on this!

Anyone experiencing issues with syncing and file listing should try this version: http://fabi.me/download/wp-filebase0.
It should give more debug info about whats going wrong. Please post your results here.

Ah, and you should try to disable the Option Hide inaccessible files and categories, found in the Security tab.

I did the update to version, but still having a problem viewing the lists of files and file browser. Non-registered visitors still be able to view them. The option is enabled: “If enabled, unregistered users can not download any files. You can set different limits for each user role below.” And the options are disabled: “If enabled, files marked as members only will not be listed for visitors or users with insufficient privileges” and “Access to files is only to Permitted uploader and administrators.” The tests are being conducted online. See how the lists are viewed by the visitor on the site:”https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-PDWyptpCj1Q/TphTaEIpqsI/AAAAAAAAAig/ckNzaQQLfqI/s800/lista.arq.erro.jpg”. Now see how I view as an administrator:”https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-grq4K88nfQU/TphUzF5A2sI/AAAAAAAAAi0/cCwUOrF1jtE/s800/lista.arq.admin.jpg”. This table was created from the code provided in the templates, just add “description” and “thumbnail”. If you need any other information, please specify.

Try the new version, there was a small MySQL syntax bug causing errors on some servers (not my 2 test systems 😛 )

I’m using the version and the file tree view does not work:
this shortcode [wpfilebase tag=browser /] does not shows up the file tree.

    wp 3.3.1
    php 5
