Support » Plugin: WP-Filebase Download Manager » [Plugin: WP-Filebase Download Manager] [feature request] Easy to Update Icons

  • When customizing my websites, I like to update the PDF icon for Filebase since I don’t like the default document-looking icon.

It’d be great if there was an easier way to update this image instead of having to upload over it in the /wp-includes folder, especially since it gets saved over when upgrading the plugin.

I realize I can just upload it via Media and link to it there, but that’s still a work-around. It’d be really great if it was just integrated directly into the plugin.

Not super important, but after doing 10+ WP sites this year, it’s becoming annoying for me, ha. Thanks!

I use a green folder image (“folder48.png” in Images) but every time I update the plugin I have to go and reload my replacement png file.

I’ve found as a work-around that if I upload the file icon to my images folder (or even template/images folder) and then direct link to it that way instead of using the image url variable, it isn’t updated when the plugin is updated. So that’s one way of doing it…
