[Resolved] [Plugin: WP Favorite Posts] Want database saves, so how to login without commenting?

  • I want my readers to be able to save a post to their favorites but rely on the database instead of cookies (don’t want to get emails about their favorite list disappearing.) So I’m using the ‘only registered users’ option. But many of my readers do not leave comments and to my knowledge that is the only way they can be log in/register is to leave a comment.

I might just be confused about how to go about it but what do I do to allow people to have a favorite list that doesn’t rely on cookies and logging in without having to leave a comment?

  • Never mind. I figured out that they have to login to WordPress anyway, so I guess this plugin isn’t exactly what I’m looking for.
