[Plugin: WP Facebook Open Graph protocol] Make og:description override optional

  • After updating to 2.0.3 I once again tried to figure out why I didn’t see the og:description content I was expecting. I now found the notes about the 2.0 release, which is looking a meta-description to override og:description – which is fine for the blog’s home page, but not what I want for an individual post, where I want the description to contain an excerpt from the post’s actual content, not just the generic site description.

I’ve now edited the plugin manually to disable the override in wpfbogp_callback, but thats not really a good solution.
