Support » Plugin: WP-EMail » [Plugin: WP-EMail] Page not found on click

  • The plugin installs correctly and I place the link on the page needed with <?php if(function_exists(‘wp_email’)) { email_link(); } ?> but when I click on it I get a ‘Page not found’ 404 error. I have tried with both settings for single page and popup page but both don’t work (one goes to /share/emailpopuppage/ the other goes to /share/emailpage/ as the link).

I would rather it appear as a popup.

Also can anyone help with the following:

    1) How can I make it share only my main website url, not the post or page link.
    2) Can I have it redirect after sending a message?

    Did u regenerate the permalink?

Hey Lester, I’m having the same issue as above. See the ‘Email Story’ link at the bottom of this page. Instead of popping up a window, it goes to a page emailpopup/ which does not exist (in the main window).

When you say ‘regenerate the permalink’ — could you give me more detail on that?

Ok, I have it popping up now. I looked at the code and realized I needed %EMAIL_POPUP% inside my custom tag.

Still, the thing it pops up is a “Not Found” error. Could this have to do with my permalink structure?

Ah, that’s what you meant by regenerate the permalink! Ok working now.
