I would like customers who have ordered something from my webshop to receive an email when they place an order, containing the details of the order, and a message that the payment will be checked.
Also, an email should be sent to the administrator of the site to notify him that a new order has been placed.
I expected the above to be default, but it appears to be missing.
Customers and admins only get an email when the order is changed from status “order received” to “payment confirmed”
Am I missing something, and is the above functionality allready included? If so, can somebody tell me how to enable it? I’ve tried the
I am using Ideal and PayPal as payment methods. I know ideal does not return a status, so the notification should be sent when registering the order in the database (this happens before payment).
