Support » Plugins » [Plugin: WP-dTree] Can a parent have a page?

  • Using my previous example…if I am currently on page2 can I click on “two” and have its menu open (displaying its child pages) and display the content of its page? As it stands right now the content on “two” doesn’t show up. Clicking on it displays its child pages.

Let me know if that doesn’t make sense.

Example (I’ve had all items open and clicked on page2):
    – page1
    – page2

  • So, what you’re asking is if you can have ‘Folders are links’ and at the same time, not?

You’d have to hack around a bit in the dtree node (dtree.php, lines ~240-280), but I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work.

I would, but I’m not really that familiar with coding. Basically I’d like to see the parent items (when clicked) display their page on the screen and open their subpages in the navigation.

I realized after five minutes of reading the JS that what you’re looking for is simply a combination of “Folders are links” and “Open to selection”. So just turn them on. 🙂

Btw. get the new dev version. (as of three minutes ago)

    Thanks. It now works great!
