• This is confusing the heck out of me, for some reason and only with some files, if I add a download (for a mp3) it will download the file at 0 Bytes, eg no data, I really cant figure out whats going on. to add to the confusion, it doesn’t do it on all files. i have tried 777 CHMOD, re-uploading the files, changing directory’s, re-encoding the mp3’s and re-uploading them a number of times. yelling at my computer and banging head against the wall… (does not work)

can anyone help me here? I use it to monitor my music on my site.

Running wordpress 2.6/WP Download Manager 1.31
    Thanks !

  • It maybe because of some configuration on your server with regards to .mp3 extension.

Try Download Monitor as an alternative plugin.

No worries, if not you can try this option, in WP-Admin -> Download -> Download Option, under “Download Method:” set it to “Redirect To File”
