[Plugin: WP Download Codes] No files showing in releases folder

My download codes aren’t working, when someone inputs the code it redirects to my homepage instead of downloading the link, so (on the tip from this thread http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-download-codes-file-link-redirects-to-homepage-instead-of-download-file?replies=11) I moved my zip file from /public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads/mzr (“mzr” being the folder that contains the zip file) to /public_html/blog/wp-content/mzr (moving the folder up one level)

But now, not only are my downloads still redirecting to the homepage, but when I go into Manage My Releases it says “No files have been uploaded to the releases folder: /public_html/blog/wp-content/mzr You must do this first before adding a release!” even though I have moved my zip file into the releases folder.

What should I do to a) get it to recognize the zip file and b) actually have this plugin work?
