[Resolved] [Plugin: WP Document Revisions] Check-Out and Check-In functions

  • Hi,

We are thinking of implementing this plug-in for a client and I would like to understand how the Check-Out and Check-In feature works.

On the video posted it states that a file is checked-out while the user stays on the WP document revision page in word press.

What if the user wants to take the file for a number of updates offline. For example over a period of days….does the system still record that file as “Checked-Out” to the user ?

And can no-one update or “Check-In” another copy of the file until that user checks-in their changes..

    Thanks for your help
    Looks like a great product

That functionality does not exist as is, but could be added as the plugin uses WordPress’s native checkin/checkout system. You would want to look into the timeout that WordPress uses before releasing post locks. I believe there is an API hook to modify it.
