    Hi there

    This error start when i upgraded the plugin Wp Defender.

    Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/content/97/10715597/html/site_name/wp-content/plugins/defender-security/app/module/hardener/model/settings.php on line 402

    What is wrong with my WordPress Backend?

    Hope you are doing well!

    This error showing up with PHP version 5.3. I am afraid this PHP version is not supported anymore by WordPress (please see WordPress requirements) please contact your hosting provider and ask them to upgrade the PHP version. The Defender plugin is working well with PHP versions higher than 5.6.
