Hi, I put the short code in the page and it’s working fine – but reviews are also showing in sidebar, which my client doesn’t want.

How can I stop it showing in the sidebar?

It looks like the widget has been added to the sidebar.

I’ve resolved it -it is conflicting with another plugin ‘Secondary HTML content’, and this plugin (which allows you to add content to sidebars http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/secondary-html-content/) is pulling in the reviews. I set the css to:
#wpcr_respond_1{
display:none;
}

Whoops, css should be:
.widget-area #wpcr_respond_1{
display:none;
}
