[Plugin: WP Carousel] Feature Requests

    This plugin is a great start, but it needs a few things:
    1. When adding a new carousel, one should be able to give that carousel a name or label (‘my carousel’) which appears in the admin menu for easier identification of them.
    2. Editing text in the Customized type text fields has issues- text is not selectable, admin has to click to the end of the passage and delete all of the text then repaste or type to edit.
    3. There needs to be a shortcode for adding carousels to posts/pages via admin and ideally, a media button which would bring up a menu of available carousels to add one.

    Thanks!

    Thought of one more: The jQuery for the plugin should detect if there’s only one ‘scene’ loaded and not try to cycle if so.

    A few more requests for this great plugin (that everybody should donate at least 20 bucks imho) :

    1. Move graycircle.png to the theme, so we can modify it without changing the plugin itself.
    2. Remove the move panel if there’s only one scene
    3. Ability to filter by more than on

    More requests, while am at it.

    – This loop adds breaks returns (
    ) unwillingly <?php foreach ($items as $i_id => $item): ?>

    – add the option of adding the title of the articles above the image. I can do it in php, but most users can’t. 🙂

    @adambundy: All your request are added in the final release of WP Carousel 1.0, and some of them in the Betas. Thank for your suggestions!

    @kgjerstad: I’ll try to add your suggestions in final release. Thanks for suggesting!
