Support » Plugin: WP Calendar » [Plugin: WP Calendar] Make Admin Menu Item Independent of "Comments"

  • I’m using a custom function in functions.php to eliminate the “Comments” menu item from the admin, however, in doing so this also eliminates the Calendar Tab.

    I’ve been able to work around this by commenting out the following in fsCalendarAdmin.php : hookOrderAdminMenu() (roughly L52-L65):

    global $menu;
    /*
    		foreach($menu as $k => $m) {
    			if ($m['2'] == fsCalendar::$plugin_filename) {
    				$mym = $m;
    				unset($menu[$k]);
    			} elseif ($m[2] == 'edit.php') {
    				$myi = $k;
    			}
    		}

    		if (!isset($mym) || !isset($myi))
    			return;
    			*/
    		$new_index = $myi + 1;

    Also, I’d recommend changing the Admin tab title to “WP Calendar” to match the app’s name.
