• You get all the bells and whistles of Google’s data, graphs, bars, fake doors, with no plugins. Setup requires you to agree to every data harvest possible, and at least five time you have to agree, instead of one global “take all the privacy” button.
Also, if your site’s title is in English, it just fails. No explanation, nothing. Just a general “Unknown Error”, and that’s it. Non-latin characters are too much to handle? Could be, could be…
I give this plugin 3 schmeckles out of 5 until they sort those bugs out.

@royeyal Thats for the review, good to hear you are enjoying it.

The error you were encountering is not specific to a sites title being in English. In some cases the REST API is disabled or blocked, sometimes at host level, resulting in such errors. There has been an update to the plugin that should provide a workaround for many users, and more improvements to come.

You’re right, it has nothing to do with the site’s language. However, receiving vague messages such as “Unable to receive access token because of an invalid authorization code or refresh token” Or “Unknown error” keeps the user guessing for answers and solutions.
Clearer error messages goes a long way.
It’s a great start, and I hope the plugin will continue to improve.

@royeyal Just to let you know we’ve made upgrades to the plugin, including the ability to add sites with non standard characters, something you mentioned at the plugins release.

If you want to install the latest plugin we also have a product feedback feature which you may find useful for any additional areas of improvement.

    Thanks again for your feedback.
