[Plugin: WordSocial] Fatal Error

    I just started to receive this message “011-06-22 18:45:52 – WordSocial was unable to publish the post with ID 1246, because it can’t create the file _wso-lockfile-1246.txt in your WSO plugin folder. Please give it the write access” and now I got this one today…”Fatal error: Uncaught OAuthException: Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user has changed the password. thrown in /home2/appleled/public_html/wp- content/plugins/wordsocial/inc/facebook/base_facebook.php on line 962″
    Not sure what to do. My Facebook was compromised today so I had to change the password. Should I un-install and re install because I can’t touch any of the settings?

    Did you try to revoke the access, and sign in again ?

    And, remove the file into your “wordsocial/lock” folder as well.

    The only thing I can see is the fatal error. How do I access the sign in and where would I find the wordsocial/lock folder?

    sorry to bump this post but feels relevant as I need to re-ask rrosen’s question – how do i revoke access to facebook and sign-in again?

    I changed my facebook pasword which has invalidated my token.

    Cant see where to create a new one within WP?

    When you go in your settings, you can sign out from facebook (this will revoke the access), and then sign in to have the new token.

    Thanks for the quick reply Tommy, this is a great plugin.

    I wasn’t seeing nay settings as the error was blocking them? On the wordsocial settings page i was just seeing the error and nothing else.

    I deactivated and reactivated the plugin and the settings came back – so I’ve now signed in with facebook with my new password. many thanks.
