 * Just thought I’d update this again, since it appears nobody noticed. We’re up
   to 1.7.2, and `get_shortlink` still doesn’t work.

 * Please use `wp_get_shortlink`. The generic `get_shortlink` was removed because
   a new shortlink framework was added to WordPress.
