# [Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] missing referrers

 * Hello – I use bit.ly for url shortening within tweets regarding articles. I would
   expect wordpress stats to show bit.ly as a referrer but it doesn’t. Is this a
   bug? Bit.ly has stats that count number of clicks so I know traffic comes in 
   from bit.ly. Please advise. The site is bit.ly url is [http://bit.ly/OT3JA](http://bit.ly/OT3JA)
   and it redirects to [http://www.handyguyspodcast.com/tag/energy-savings](http://www.handyguyspodcast.com/tag/energy-savings)
