# [Plugin: WordPress.com Popular Posts] thumbnail other than post_thumbnail

 * Hi,
    I use popular post plugin and I have this line to pull thumbnail
 * [%post_thumbnail%%post_title%](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpresscom-popular-posts-thumbnail-other-than-post_thumbnail/%post_permalink%?output_format=md)
 * which pulls the default post-thumbnail , the problem is that the post-thumbnail
   is much larger than the size i want and the browser has to resize them.
    my question:
   can I make the plugin pulls another image , like ‘square’ which is defined in
   functions.php ? I tried to change post_thumbnail with ‘square’ but did,t work.

   should do what you need.
    aftetr that just put the name as **&thumbnail_size=
   thumbnail**
