[Plugin: WordPress Wiki] restricting editing of pages and posts not part of wiki (3 posts)

Wondering if anyone with experience on Roles & Capabilities knows how to set up a role that restricts editing capability to edit wikis only and not provide access to being able to edit other pages and posts on the site. Been experimenting with various combinations of capabilities and cannot find one that denies users ability to edit wiki posts without also providing them access to editing main posts on the site. If there is no functionality like this I would love to see this in a future release.

There is an edit wiki capability that could be used for this purpose.. turning off the ability to edit all other posts would be a great addition.

I use the role manager plug in, crate a custom role, and select the specific permissions.

My other problem, even after using the role manager is that when a user clicks the link in the sentence: "This page is wiki editable click here to edit this page." takes them back to a log in page, even after they have already logged in. Logging in again -- back to the wiki page -- click the link -- back to the log in page. A constant loop.

The only way past the loop is to use the regular wp-admin log in, however, I need to find a way to fix the constant loop problem with the edit wiki page line.

If anyone has any answers to this - I would appreciate it.

    Thank you
