Make sure you have the custom field ID correct — it may not be what you think.

e.g. You may have named it
    Product_Link

But its ‘internal name’ may be:
    Product_Link__c

You should see the internal field names at the bottom of the screen where you add/edit custom fields.

Fantastic thank you Nick that solved my problem!

One other quick question – from what I understand it’s not possible to have a pick-list/drop-down question on the form, which contains predefined answers which the user can select from, am I correct? Is this something that will be available in future?

Sorry, not in the current version.

The challenge comes in getting those values out of SF.com which requires an API user and API call, etc. That was too much to bite off in the 2.0 release (there was plenty of other items to fix).

I’ll mention the request and maybe it’ll make the next release.

Thanks Nick – appreciate your quick response. Looking forward to the next version of the plugin!

I also appreciate the help Nick. Even 5 months later this post helped me!

One note; When users click on the radio box marked ‘Send me a copy’ the email they receive includes the information they supplied IN the custom field but NOT the custom field name itself. As an example, I added a custom field titled ‘Referred By’. The confirmation email contained the following
    ——————–
    First name: Test4
    Last name: Contact4
    Email: adam@test.com
    Phone: 2505551212
    : Kevin
    Street: 2100 Test Lane
    City: Kelowna
    State: BC
    Country: Canada
    ZIP: V4J3G2
    Message: No message 4
    ——————–

In the above example you can see that under ‘Phone: 2505551212’ should read, ‘Referred By: Kevin4’ however the field name is missing, and only the colon and name were displayed. Is there a way to resolve this?

Thanks in advance and again…A++ plugin!

    Hmmm… sounds like a bug.

I don’t help maintain this plugin anymore, but I’ll pass this along to the programmers that do.

    Thanks Nick

dollarone- So I’m bug fixing and testing the plugin… and the custom fields are showing up fine in the user confirmation email.

Can I see what your form configuration screen looks like?

    Nevermind. Just happened to me!

    Fixed in 2.0.1
