I just got an error too when trying to install from wordpress:

please follow the installtion instruction mentioned in installation tab.
I’ve just read the installation instructions – so you can’t install this via the usual WP process?
I expect to load a WP plugin easily through the installer otherwise it’s all just too hard.
1.Unzip the downloaded zip file and unzipped folder will be be called simple-e-commerce-shopping-cart.
2.Get inside the simple-e-commerce-shopping-cart folder and you will see a folder called SimpleEcommCart. Create a zip file for the SimpleEcommCart ( call it SimpleEcommCart.zip ). You can upload this(SimpleEcommCart.zip) zip file into your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory using the installed plugin interface.
please just get the SimpleEcommCart folder and create a zip file called SimpleEcommCart.zip ….You can upload this zip file easily.
I understand your installation instructions but why doesn’t it install like every other plugin? Sorry I’ll move on to the next one.
Also very few of us read the installation instructions because nearly all plugins are installed the same way.
I am fixing this issue in my next release. If you can use it , please do as I will provide you the best support for afree plug in.
