[Resolved] [Plugin: WordPress SEO] Sitemap Problem in Version 1.4?

Getting this error on my RSS feed from Feedburner

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘WPSEO_Frontend::embed_rssfooter’ was given in /home/website/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 166

    Any suggestions?

Getting this as well on sites that don’t even have WP SEO turned on, on our multi site install.

    Getting the same issue here…

Issues found and will be fixed in 0.1.5, coming in a bit (like, under 30 minutes).

Upgraded to version 0.1.5 and saved a new post and I get the same error.

Joost, is there a way to disable the RSS footer?

Thanks for everything, especially all the hard work you are putting into this awesome plugin!

Hi Silencio, it can’t actually give that error anymore, could you check that you have A upgraded correctly and fully and B whether it’s really that error message? If not, could you copy the error message you are getting?

Thanks for checking in. It seems that it is only happening with my feedburner feed as far as I can tell. Here is my Feed

And here again is the error

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘WPSEO_Frontend::embed_rssfooter’ was given in /home/website/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 166

I am using the Studiopress Genesis Theme with the AgentPress Child Theme, if that helps.

    Joost,

I upgraded the plugin through the admin this time for version 0.1.5. But for version 0.1.4 I had deleted the plugin as you suggested and reinstalled it.

I just again deleted the plugin and did a fresh re-install from WordPress.org and now it is working. I also made a change in my feed settings. I had it set to show the last 100 posts and the “full text”. I changed this to show only the last 15 and a summary. Don’t know if these changes affected the outcome or if it was the fresh re-install that did it but now it is working.

Thanks again. I will be making a donation soon. Thanks much for your help and for taking the time to develop this awesome plugin.

Thanks a ton, I was going mad slowly over what was happening there, glad to see it’s fixed.

    Joost,

Well…now I have the same issue on another site’s feed

I tried the same things with it….I tried deactivating the plugin and re-activating it, then I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it, then I changed the feed settings in wordpress and nothing helped….so far.

So there might still be something going on…in the background. Sorry, thought you might want to know.

Is it going on in feedburner? Or on the site itself? If it’s feedburner, try resyncing the feed.

    Silencio55

    @silencio55

Yes it was just happening in Feedburner. Resyncing fixed it!

    Thanks….!!!
