[Plugin: WordPress SEO] .htaccess messed up

    Hi,

    First off … great plugin, thanks for the effort.
    I’m having an issue with the .htaccess file getting totally messed up, when this plugin is enabled. I disabled it a few days, no problem, when enabled the .htaccess get’s messed up in a few hours, and the site produces 500 errors. It looks like a wp cron job is doing this!

    I am also running w3-total-cache, and had this problem not before, it happened after installing wordpress-seo.

    Any idea what is happening ?

    This might not be related, but do you happen to have entries in the Category or Page fields on the Titles page options of WordPress SEO? I and some others found that having entries in those was creating 500 errors when clicking on category links, etc. Deleting the entries for Categories, etc, stopped the errors. The entry for Posts works as it should.

    Nope unfortunately not, in my case the .htaccess is really changed and messed up
