# [Plugin: WordPress SEO] Google Ping Still Working?

 * Hi there,
 * I upgraded to version 1.0.3 over the weekend. One of the updates listed in the
   changelog was that the plugin would now ping Google by default without the user
   having to check the option on the settings screen.
 * In the previous version, I had this option selected and after publishing a post
   I would usually see it indexed in Google within minutes.
 * Yesterday, I published my first post after upgrading to 1.0.3, yet it has still
   not appeared in Google, even though it can already be found on search engines
   such as Bing.
 * Would you be able to verify that the Google ping is still working correctly after
   the latest update?
