Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] wpseo_permalink_template is not defined

  • The following behavior is experienced while the WordPress SEO plugin is installed and active but does not occur when it is deactived.

If I create a post I can use the built in Add/Edit link feature with no problem as long as it’s during the initial post creation. If I save the post, leave the edit page and come back to edit I can no longer use the Add/Edit Link dialog. When trying to the Add/Edit link dialog will be blank, it does not load any of the existing posts and search no long functions properly within that dialog. With Firebug running the following error is visible:

“wpseo_permalink_template is not defined Line 138”

This error is in the function named “updateURL” which exists in the file “wp-seo-metabox.js”.

If I deactivate the WordPress SEO plugin everything functions as expected and of course there is no error message.

I love this plugin and have used it for several clients and appreciate any assistance you can provide.
