Just upgraded WordPress to 3.4.1 then upgraded WordPress SEO to the latest version (on 29/08/12) and got this error that killed the whole site:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function update_options() in /home/*******/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/class-admin.php on line 441

Had to delete the plugin directory to get the site back online.

So it is just a stray "s" in the latest version?

I will look later, lunch is ready.

    Many thanks!

Yes, it's as simple as that! Surprised that it managed to slip through the cracks prior to release.
