This is a problem I can’t see to figure out. Whenever I use the WordPress editor to specify a custom URL for one of my articles, that custom URL bit will be used as the article’s Title in Google searches – even though the actual title is specified in the WordPress SEO box under my search.
Article Title specified: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9376919/Screenshots/_.png
Listed incorrectly in search results: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9376919/Screenshots/~.png
HOWEVER – certain search terms will bring up the full article title, like so: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9376919/Screenshots/00.png
For other sites, though, any search term will bring up the full article title.
I’m not really sure what to try here – everything is set up correctly.
I’m using version 1.2.5 of WordPress SEO – people are saying an update will break things lately, so I’m worried about updating…
