[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] WordPress SEO and qTranslate META

  • WordPress version: 3.4.1
    WordPress SEO version: 1.2.5

I did this: I have installed WordPress SEO by Yoast. However, I want to have different META tags for each language of each static page. This can be handled with the plugin “qTranslate META.” But WordPress SEO by Yoast overrules the other plugin.

How can I make these two work together or just fix META tags for each specific language of each page?

  • I’ve been researching the same thing. It would be REALLY nice if these two plugins could play nice together, or if Yoast would add the ability to create multiple language fields for the META description and title (while I’m a noob at this, those seem to be the two most relevant things to show up in search results in a meaningful way).

While I’m sure this would require some effort, I can’t imagine that 1000s of people aren’t in this same exact position.

Ye, I could really need .. just a small fix for this. Unfortunately, my php knowledge is not enough to work out this 🙁
